Take part in our second European Congress exploring patient involvement in digitalised healthcare driven by leading representatives of the patient community, in a virtual setting..
The European Patients’ Forum has been representing patients’ voices in a united and influential way over the past 18 years to drive better health in Europe. This event will provide an exceptional opportunity for dialogue and engagement with a wide range of health players who aspire to showcase patient-led innovation. Together, we will explore what meaningful patient involvement means in a rapidly changing healthcare environment using new technologies, and why it is critical to successful innovation.
Join us for four days of learning, exploring, testing ideas and co-creating solutions. This Congress is dedicated to promoting the uptake of patient-driven digital solutions, generating recommendations based on patient knowledge and expertise, forging new partnerships in an under-explored health space, and much more. Due to the current public health situation, the Congress 2021 will be held virtually, with a physical follow-up event in Brussels, in Spring 2022 (subject to change).
A high-level advisory board composed of 9 experts from the NGO, governmental, academic and healthcare industry sectors are assisting EPF with strategic advice to ensure the lasting impact of the event. These ambassadors, with their diverse and rich backgrounds, will help showcase why patient involvement is critical to successful innovation in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.
Subscribe to the newsletter and make sure you register on time. The Congress is aimed at a wide audience of patient representatives, policy makers, health systems experts, healthcare profession representatives, academics, regulatory and HTA experts, health insurance providers and industry representatives, from Europe and beyond. This diversity will ensure a rich and dynamic discourse and exchange of ideas.
With 77 members, the European Patients’ Forum represents the interests of an estimated 150 million people with chronic diseases. As the leading voice of patient organisations in Europe, we strive to advance the interests of patients and patient communities by strengthening their collective impact across Europe through effective advocacy, education, empowerment, and partnership.
We are proud to announce that EPF Congress 2021 is Patients Included™. This means that EPF is committed to incorporating the experience of patients as experts in living with their condition while ensuring they were neither excluded nor exploited.
